FIRST IMPRESSION:

While Kivia seems about average height to her peers, most of those are adult men in heeled cavalry boots. This probably puts her just slightly above-average for a woman, and on top of that she is usually seen decked out in armor herself. While her figure isn't meant to be imposing, she does carry herself with a well-disciplined air. Kivia wants to be a pillar of strength others can rely on, and as such acts accordingly.

Because she mainly travels and fights on horseback, she probably tends to smell like dried hay, leather, and whatever care supplies are needed to keep both the horse tack and her armor in top shape (soaps and oils).

VOICE:

I'm most familiar with her JP voice as played by Shizuka Ishigami. Featured here, she has a low register and a no-nonsense way of speaking. To-the-point, but not necessarily rude. Likely as a result of her devoting her life to be a Holy Knight since she was a child.

FEATURES:

Lean built, but still strong. There's no point in bulking up too much when your job involves riding horses, but she still possess strong muscles from skilled riding and wielding a knightly sword.

History

Kivia was born into a family of priests who served the Temple and were rewarded with a large domain of influence. While her family is seen as highly respectable, they cashed in on their faith for a comfortable life. Kivia even mentions they don't always achieve what they want in "aboveboard" ways, too. Because of her disgust with her parents she joined the military to distance herself from them and make a name for herself on her own merits.

It's shown that Kivia's uncle was the one who supported her in that goal, and was the one to buy her the first sword she ever used for training. From there she worked hard and diligently to uphold her ideals of honor and justice. Quickly becoming a soldier who produced favorable results, and rose up to the position of Captain with startling speed. Kivia is introduced in the series as the Captain of the Thirteenth Order of Holy Knights.
